Technical skills required
*Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web.
*Mastery of Browser based technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, AJAX, etc.).
*Experience with JAVA technologies (JSP, JSF, J2EE, Taglibs, Spring, Struts, Velocity, etc.).
*Experience with XML technologies (XSLT, XPATH, XML, etc.).
*Experience with a Version Control system (CVS, GIT, Perforce, Clearcase, SVN, etc.).
*Working knowledge of PC, UNIX, and Mac environments
*Prior work experience on a large e-commerce site
*Internet marketing, On-line marketing / advertising experience
Key Accountabilities
*Develop and design the presentation layer of the website within a Java JSP/ JSF templating system, ensuring pages are programmed error-free, and optimized for performance.
*Collaborate effectively with web development team as well as design, product, and development teams; provide advice about template design, browser limitations and web technology.
*Implement UI layer and incorporate the latest front end technologies
*Providing architectural guidance and direction for the UI and application layers
Work with product management and engineering staff to solidify technical and infrastructure requirements, track milestones related to technical infrastructure and manage issues and risks.
*Prioritize workload to meet deadlines for assignments in the code release schedule.
*Perform quality assurance on all new code from inception through integration, staging and production environments.
*Stay current with the newest online technologies; research new technologies and make recommendations on implementations
