One of our KIT List members (thank you, Ginny!) suggested I send out an email to the NEW email list for the KIT List so those of you who've subscribed can be certain you're on the new list.
Please bear with me while I work out any kinks in this migration. I really appreciate those of you who've been polite in your requests. I've been pulling a lot of all-nighters (last night, too, and still rushing to get as many over as possible) since Yahoo Groups ends tomorrow forever.
Thank you for your patience as this big job of moving over 72,000. I can only move some of you over due to the painfully slow cut and paste method!
Kelly and I were contemplating closing the KIT List when Yahoo Groups ends, but with Covid causing so many people to lose their jobs, we decided to keep it going as long as it can help people find permanent or consulting work. Groups.io is free, and they don't use ads or harvest your data the way Google Groups does, plus they have more features we can use later.
NOTE:
Some of you haven't received my previous emails alerting everyone about the email platform move to Groups.io. I've been manually moving over some of the more recent members, since there is no way to transfer the database over easily. If you had your preferences were set to "No Email" on Yahoo Groups, you are finally getting emails again since I couldn't preserve your preferences.
To change your email preferences, just go to: https://groups.io/g/KIT-List/editsub (you'll have the option for "Individual Emails," "Digest," "Special Notices" or "No Email."
