Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our growing sales team. Do your friends consider you the perfect marketing matchmaker? We are looking for an experienced sales "hunter", responsible for growing business in one of our largest and most lucrative territories on the West Coast. A successful individual in this role will be an effective sales professional that genuinely wants to help clients overcome their pain points and seamlessly expand their marketing capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Develop sales in designated target market(s) by identifying new sales opportunities with potential accounts in the Fortune 500-10,000 companies
Implement sales approaches that provide clearly defined strategies, tactics, and timeframes to maximize revenue
Partner with clients through strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business priorities, needs, and strategies to deliver a value-add business solution.

Utilize customer relationship management tools to provide a detailed weekly forecast of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements
Learn and develop knowledge of new technologies and selling points including enhancing expertise in the company's service offerings.

Help meet client needs by positioning and selling Crawford Group services from virtual events to marketing consultancy


Requirements:

5+ years (minimum) of strong experience and history of success selling into the tech sector supporting marketing, preferred
Established and maintained book of business within the marketing, digital, creative, or event space ranging from C-Suite to Managerial level contacts, a must have
Solid track record of developing new client business with a contingent workforce and/or marketing and communication services "product"
Demonstrated major account success in a direct, quota-bearing sales role, with examples of the sales approach employed and proof sources of client growth, client satisfaction, and long-term consultative client relationships
Proven ability to open, develop, and sell into major accounts. Reference and documented major account results will be an important element in the selection process
Expertise in selling services or staffing ideally into marketing organizations, bringing experience and credibility to Crawford Group's presence and subject matter expertise to create peer-to-peer client meetings
Knowledge of the functions within a marketing organization and/or experience selling new business for consulting/services agencies preferred
Ability to create, manage, and deepen customer relationships through consistent connection and problem solving
Soft skills and diplomacy for mentoring clients as needed utilizing a consultative sale approach
Business savvy with broad business and management knowledge and experience
A problem solver who responds creatively and resiliently to challenges
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A solid familiarity with online business applications, CRM tools (HubSpot etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite are minimum requirements
BS or BA in Business or related field
Occasional travel to client sites when needed for presentations
