Encore Fellowships match US citizens, with 20-25+ years experience, nearing retirement, who wish a second act in social impact, to nonprofits for paid, part-time work.
For those wishing to transition their business skills to the non-profit sector, Encore Fellowships offer a paid $25,000 stipend for 1000 hours, typically part-time for a year, education and networking opportunities.
For a nonprofit focused on community building, mostly onsite in Berkeley or Oakland, East Bay candidates only. The nonprofit needs a health care support manager with healthcare clinical experience, to provide social support around health issues to the members of the community, work with and provide training to skilled volunteers,manage requests for health-related services, make referrals, and track and report data.
