Vice President of Enterprise Software Sales Closer

Location: Remote but must be Airport Adjacent or Commutable

Our client has asked us to identify an entrepreneurial-minded VP of Enterprise Sales for their first-of-its-kind software product.

This employer is an angel-funded startup focused on finding a VP of Enterprise Sales to close Fortune 500 accounts. The right sales executive can take warm leads or deals in progress to the finish line, successfully closing these deals!  They can easily provide multiple examples of how they closed product sales to the CXO level in the F500 environment.

Our client is an innovative SaaS organization that helps companies manage enterprise cyber and data privacy risk. The ideal candidate has helped an organization grow to $5 MM in new revenue sales. 

This role is remote, but there will be some travel involved. Our client therefore seeks a candidate who resides near a major airport. Also important, the desired candidate has experience building a company.

The right person must have an enterprise sales background and have sold to CXO level contacts. They also must have SaaS experience.  Those with security/compliance/GRC sales experience will be given the highest consideration.

Our client has a board/advisory BOD that is unheard of in a company this size.  In addition, given the uniqueness of their product, companies that have already expressed interest in learning about the product are approaching 500 in number. Lastly, the ideal entrepreneur-at-heart candidate is a self-starter, requires minimal direction, and has successfully operated in a Fortune 500 environment.

This role offers a good base salary, commissions, and stock options. The right candidate will eventually lead a team of salespeople, help grow the company, and take it through various rounds of funding. Currently, this role is an individual contributor role.
