You are a seasoned professional with a minimum of 20+ years of experience, who is retired or in transition. You want to continue to work and want to do something with meaning. You may be ready for a second act for the greater good.

Encore Fellowships are structured programs that place highly-skilled, experienced professionals into social-purpose organizations, where they help nonprofits build capacity, and ultimately, have a greater impact on their communities. Fellows commit to 1,000 hours of work over 6 to 12 months. They are paid a stipend of $25,000 and are integrated into the nonprofit's leadership team.

PREFERENCE FOR FULL-TIME for SIX MONTHS, onsite in Sunnyvale.

Title: Grant Writer & Management

Work host: South Bay nonprofit whose mission is to prevent homelessness and hunger in our local community.

Work scope: Grant writing and management. Position will focus on writing grants, maintaining the organization's grant calendar and creating grant reports. Fellow will prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to private foundations, corporate foundations, and local, country, and federal government. In addition, fellow will support the Development Director with grant reporting.

Responsible for conducting the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage
grant proposals to private foundations, corporate foundations, and local, county, and federal
government


Stipend: $25K for 1000 hours

Work Location: Sunnyvale (onsite presence required)

Work Schedule: Flexible. Preference is a full-time 6 month fellowship but open to part-time, 20 hour per week, with reduced scope for the right candidate.
