Our client, a high growth healthcare technology company is seeking a Vice President of Finance.
The person in this role will work closely with the executive team and report to the Head of Business Operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented finance leader to build the finance function. Ideal candidates will be excited about working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial startup environment and have extensive experience in corporate finance with a high-growth SaaS organization.
Responsibilities
- Financial strategy and infrastructure:
- Create systems, frameworks and processes that enhance financial rigor.
- Assess current set of financial tools and implement future systems for financial reporting analysis, forecasting, and accounting
- Ensure accurate subscription billing and monthly reconciliations of AR for completeness and accuracy
- Build and develop the finance team into an organization focused on performance
- Corporate planning and analysis:
- Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Develop and own the cadence for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting of results to leadership and key stakeholders, including the board and investors
- Partner with senior leaders to ensure the company hits its revenue targets and achieves goals within budget
- Own all aspects of financial planning (e.g., cash flow requirements, the balance sheet, and income statement).
- Provide modeling and analytical support for strategic projects, new product development and go-to-market strategy.
- Influence change: Bring strong business and operational orientation to influence business decisions and strategy
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a finance leadership role with an excellent understanding of business metrics and processes in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Experience scaling a company over $100M in ARR
- Comfortable in the player-coach mode as you build your team
- Expertise in FP&A, including financial modeling, business scenario planning, managing risk and cost
- Experience overseeing client billing, collections, accounts receivable and payables
- Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting, with strong foundational accounting principles
- Experience with post C round fundraising
- Thrive in a fast-changing environment and ambiguity, while being execution-oriented, hands-on, pragmatic, and focused on results

- CPA qualification
