Analyst Relations Specialist, Hewlett Packard EnterpriseThis role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office. 


Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) seeks an ambitious, energetic individual to join the industry analyst relations team.

Part of the HPE Global Communications team, the Specialist, Analyst Relations, will contribute to key industry analyst and independent analyst programs for HPE. This individual will support the Analyst Relations team, and collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and Business Group leadership, to advance HPE's business, product, innovation, and category leadership initiatives.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate an interest in the industry analyst ecosystem, a desire to learn, and willingness to consume and synthesize analyst research and reports from a variety of industry analysts. This individual should have a strong command of details and process, and a capable project manager.

Responsibilities include:
 
  - Corporate analyst relations: support the Director, Industry Analyst Relations, to drive engagement with lead analysts on HPE at the tier one analyst firms, build programs to represent pan-HPE strategy and innovation agenda with analysts, manage reports and interactions with analysts focused on the overall HPE story. Support and project manage tier-one analyst events like industry analyst summits.
  - Product analyst relations: project manage key components of product / market segment analyst relations, including managing analyst relationships and supporting industry analysts on research and report development. manage product / business group analyst relations team, reviewing and advising team on AR strategy for each business area, and engaging on key projects like Gartner Magic Quadrants.
  - Measurement: support the team and project manage the analyst relations measurement program for HPE – to leverage as information / insights tool for senior management, and set objectives for analyst relations program.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:

  - Strong project manager: strong attention to detail, ability to manage projects on-time and on-budget.

This role will also play a horizontal leadership role across the company to develop a speakers bureau leveraging top company leadership.

Responsibilities

Write and edit email, web content, blog posts, etc.

About You:

BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.
Extensive background in internal or external communications, PR, social media, or marketing.
Previous thought leadership campaign success and examples.

  - Attends meetings with clients and helps the Manager, Live Events and Webcasts with scheduling, pre-production, production, post-production, and operation of live webcasts
  - Manages and operates live webcasts with multiple components including animations, remote speakers, video playback, closed captioning, and ASL interpreters

  - Manages training of all webcasters and leads technical support for all webcasts
  - Work with webcast project managers, webcasters, and producers in the understanding of scope, budget, and schedule of each webcast

Executive Assistant – Chief Communications Officer Job Description

The Executive Assistant provides executive support to the Chief Communications Officer (CCO).  This Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Global Communications team. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to senior management teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects. The ideal individual exercises good judgment in a variety of situations, has strong written and verbal communication skills, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant has conflict resolution skills, the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work well under pressure and be able to handle a wide variety of activities involving confidential matters with discretion.

 Roles & Responsibilities

•Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CCO including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.

•Plans, coordinates and ensures the CCO's schedule is followed and respected. Provides "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the CCO's time and office.

•Communicates directly, and on behalf of the CCO, with other Executive Committee members and their assistants, customers,  professional industry associations, non-profit charitable and community organizations, HPE Foundation staff, and others, on matters related to CCO's programmatic initiatives.

•Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CCO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.

•Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the CCO's office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.

•Works closely and effectively with the Chief of Staff to keep the CCO well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Acts as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the CCO updated.

•Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and manages a variety of special projects for the President, some of which may have organizational impact.

•Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the CCO's ability to effectively lead the company.

•Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

Travel Briefing Preparation: Creating travel packs for Domestic and international trips. This work includes combining all event information in addition to coordinated logistics of travel and also customer/team asks.

Correspondence/Approvals: Supporting CCO by acting as proxy for communications and approvals as authorized. Answering general questions as necessary, referring (filtering) routine matters to appropriate parties, and following up to ensure proper disposition. Taking initiative to resolve problems within specified policies and guidelines, and providing mentorship to administrative community members on problem solving. Determining when executive action is required and supplying a recommendation where appropriate.

HPE looking for a strong Lead Webcast Producer to join our Digital and Creative Services team. In addition to the love of the craft, we are looking for someone with deep knowledge of Webcast and Live Event productions and operation, who also has expansive technical knowledge to train and support other webcasters. The lead webcast producer will be supporting global custom live events and online virtual events through preparatory and customized webcast platforms. Someone who is extremely detailed-oriented and who thrives working in a highly visible, fast paced and multitasking capacity at the cutting edge of communications and technology.

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, energetic teammate with excellent time management skills and is highly proficient in all things webcast. Once you'll join the team, you will be empowered to support all incoming webcast requests from multiple HPE departments, worldwide. You will work closely with our Manager, Webcast & Live Events, creative team, engineers, webcast project managers, webcasters, design, and video producers in supporting the production process to be the most efficient, creative, and cost effective.

Responsibilities:

- Supports webcast from request through delivery, ensuring that requester and in-house team needs are met on time and on or under budget
- Deep knowledge and understanding of live webcast production workflows
- Attends meetings with clients and helps the Manager, Live Events and Webcasts with scheduling, pre-production, production, post-production, and operation of live webcasts
- Manages and operates live webcasts with multiple components including animations, remote speakers, video playback, closed captioning, and ASL interpreters
- Manages webcast interactivity including chat capabilities, polling, online question manager tool and provides post-webcast metrics
- Manages training of all webcasters and leads technical support for all webcasts
- Work with webcast project managers, webcasters, and producers in the understanding of scope, budget, and schedule of each webcast
- Effectively prioritize work schedules and operator assignment for all webcasts
- Attend and support weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with Creative Services managers, webcast project managers, and webcasters.
- Meet weekly with the Manger, Live Events and Webcasts to report on workload and availability and new incoming projects
- Work closely with the webcast project managers and webcasters to assure smooth day to day operations of webcasts
- Maintain and optimize documents and workflows for webcasting services

Experience

- 3 – 5 years' experience as a webcast operator facilitating custom live, hybrid, and virtual webcasts.
- Knowledge of technical software and hardware for custom webcast events and video playback. Experience using Wirecast, vMix, and OBS preferred

- Highly organized, an exceptional communicator, process-and detail-oriented, and able to think creatively and respond quickly

HPE is excited to add an experienced Executive and Employee Communications Manager to our Corporate Communications team to support business group communications. Communication plays a key role in enabling HPE's success and our transformation to an aaS company.

How You'll Make Your Mark:

This role will support a global business group's executive and employee communications, responsible for ensuring we are tightly aligned to the organization and company transformation narratives. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and reporting sustained employee and external communications plans to advance the company's brand, and drive employee alignment and engagement.


Responsibilities

- Understand the communications needs of various internal audiences; develop, execute, and evaluate key employee communications strategies, programs, messaging frameworks, that are impactful and lead to desired outcomes.
- Support key internal events.
- Develop executive and customer presentations.
- Write and edit email, web content, blog posts, etc.
- Support executive social media efforts.
- Serve as a communications consultant and strategist for assigned business.
- Work cross-functionally across teams, businesses, and functions to ensure alignment.

About You:

- BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- Solid background in internal or external communications, social media, or marketing.

Part of the HPE Global Communications team, the Director, Analyst Relations, will lead all aspects of industry analyst and independent analyst relations, worldwide, for HPE. He or she will advocate and educate analysts on HPE's strategy and business model transformation, and gain insights and counsel from the broad spectrum of analysts, to sharpen business strategy, roadmaps, and GTM. This leader will partner with Marketing, Business Group leadership, the office of the CTO, and the HPE Executive Committee to design and execute the Analyst Relations strategy, and advance HPE's business, product, innovation, and category leadership initiatives.

The ideal candidate must have experience leading an AR team and a proven track record of generating results and business impact. He or she should have a strong understanding of company strategy, industry trends, and competitors, and the role industry analysts and independent analysts play in serving their clients, and their influence in the technology markets. This leader should be capable of driving both the strategic and the tactical – to advocate the company POV and position, and project manage key initiatives. This leader should be an excellent written and oral communicator.

Responsibilities include:

- Strategy: set and execute the global industry analyst and independent analyst strategy for HPE.
- Corporate analyst relations: drive engagement with lead analysts on HPE at the tier one analyst firms, build programs to represent the pan-HPE strategy and innovation agenda with analysts, and manage reports and interactions with analysts focused on the overall HPE story. Present compelling plans and develop consensus around a particular point of view.
- Business acumen: understand HPE strategy, business group strategy, and innovation roadmap, and the role differentiated technology and solutions can play in driving business results for a technology vendor. Understand how to tie HPE solutions and offerings to business benefits, solutions, and outcomes for HPE's customers.
