Encore Fellowships provide paid, transitional engagements in non-profit organizations, for those typically 50+ and considering retirement, with 20+ years experience in their field, who wish to move their skills to the social impact sector for their second act, usually part-time. Fellowships include a $25,000 stipend for 1000 hours of work, education on the sector, and networking with a cohort of peers.


This fellowship is for a non-profit helping those most in need reclaim their lives from poverty and unemployment by preparing them for successful sustainable careers in high-demand and emerging fields. San Francisco Bay area candidates only, currently remote. May need occasional on-site visits. 


Description:

HR Professional to develop a more formal HR infrastructure including to re-imagine their performance appraisal process, develop a new professional development infrastructure, develop the HR section of our intranet, build economic mobility programs for staff, and more.


Stipend: $25K for 1000 hours, with the possibility of extension


Work Schedule: 20 hours a week for 12 months, Flexible


Work Location: 100% Virtual, SF Bay Area candidates only

Fellowship: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER -- Virtual, must be in San Francisco Bay Area

For a SF Bay Area nonprofit focused on advancing the field of urbantech by developing a network to solve the significant challenges and pressures cities face, helping the public sector, startups and corporations build and prove new solutions for the essential foundation of our cities--transportation and mobility, energy and building.


Project Scope:

  • Connected in the SF Bay Area and California
  • An experienced Business Development professional who is interested in translating their corporate business development experience and relationships  to raising corporate partnerships and sponsor deals
  • A Strong networker, sales pitch aficionado, mission-oriented business developer who wants to see big companies and small succeed through their support of our work

Channel Impact is seeking an experienced Executive Communication Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll develop the executive communication strategy and execution plan in support of channel leadership. You are a sharp, thoughtful and driven storyteller ready to apply your writing, research skills, and design sensibility to executive presentations, emails, blogs, social media...This full time, salaried position include benefits and is open to remote workers located in the Pacific Time Zone.

What you will do:

Develop executive communication strategy and execution plan to support the VP of Global Sales
Provide strategic communication consultation to help increase the impact of an executive's business priorities
Ensure communications align with our client's brand identity and messaging framework
Prepare internal and external executive communication materials including presentations, emails, blogs, social media, briefings, etc
Create new or uplift existing presentations, taking into consideration the audience and making it more relevant, enhancing the visuals, improving the flow, optimizing the content for the audience.
Develop innovative, creative and communications using a storytelling approach to advance the executive's key initiatives and personal brand
Prepare and deliver a communication package to support Senior leadership for All Hands, OPS Reviews and QBRs.
Measure and report results of communication efforts
What you bring:

10+ years experience in executive communications for a high tech company
You are polished storyteller that is calm under pressure, innovative and think out of the box
Superior writing and editing skills - recognized for "near perfection" writing and editing skills and often asked to edit the work of others.
Superior listening and interpersonal skills.
Solid ability to create a storyline and develop a messaging platform
Superior organization skills.
Strong PowerPoint skills
Superior knowledge and understanding of communications methodologies, tools and vehicles.
High levels of tact and diplomacy.. Experience working on high profile initiatives that require confidentiality and discretion.
Experience working with the Channel is strong plus
Diversity experience is a plus
Experience in the high tech industry is a plus
BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.
