Director of Marketing Programs

Reports to: CMO

Part-time Contract

Cortical.io is an entrepreneurial company focusing on Natural Language Understanding (NLU). We use our patented AI technology to solve challenging business problems in Financial Services and Business Process Optimization. With a new round of funding, we are looking for a Director of Marketing Programs.

Job Description:

We are looking for an amazing, data-driven marketer to own the marketing funnel for our company. You will be responsible for developing programs to generate new leads and nurture them. You'll research and recommend the MarTech system stack to manage the processes and provide metrics and results reporting. You will help Cortical.io develop, enter and succeed in our target markets, advertise, develop brand awareness, and fine-tune our prospect and customer experience processes and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, budget and manage programs that generate leads in our targeted markets.
  • Implement and manage a marketing automation system (Hubspot or equivalent) to track and nurture leads throughout the buyer's journey to streamline, automate and measure all marketing tasks and workflows.
  • Establish analytics to allow us to measure the success of marketing programs and campaign performance.
  • Develop, maintain and execute demand generation plans aligned with business goals.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers, products and the buyer's journey.
  • Work closely with other departments to build cross-functional approach to our marketing efforts.
  • Work to ensure that content reaches the right part of the sales funnel at the right time working with the marketing team to identify content needed to feed these programs.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success to build programs that support sales enablement.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in managing marketing programs.
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.
  • Proficiency in Hubspot or equivalent marketing automation.
  • Startup experience
  • Bonus skills: Experience in Financial Services and Insurance

[KIT-list] Industry Analyst Relations Manager - High Tech (Silicon Valley, CA - Remote OK)

Netchannels is looking to hire an Industry Analyst Relations talent for our client, a successful high company.

You are an experienced Analyst Relations manager who has worked with Tier 1 firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC… You are someone who brings people together to leverage the expertise of each to get results. You are comfortable at the executive level, working closely with communications and business peers to drive strategy and messaging. You have a deep understanding of business fundamentals and technology. You have excellent written and verbal communications skills. You have a strong industry analyst relations background as well as experience that demonstrates sound judgment and good instincts. You see opportunities and are a "glass-half full" type of person who is keenly focused on achieving results.

Here are the activities of a Global Analyst Relations Programs Manager:
• Review and provide feedback to overall Influencer Strategy
• Drive engagement plans with Influencers including:
o Briefings, inquiries, and calls with key analyst firms from various firms
o Create Briefing docs for both Analysts and execs
o Category creation and or claiming the part of a category
o Manage Executive Alignment (Buddy) Program tier 1 influencers
• Perception Audit to set baseline
• Develop a calendar of AR activities to share with stakeholders
• Maintain records and notes of key interactions in google docs (potentially an AR service going forward)
• Publish Research Highlights on relevant coverage & Field Alerts on tier1 research weekly
• Track influencer coverage – positive, negative & neutral
• Documenting and auditing analyst feedback about the company
• Partner with product management/marketing to ensure Puppet is being placed in analyst research
o Hold quarterly calls to inform product management/marketing on upcoming research and confirm priority
o Build out strategy and planning to place Puppet in approach research (both planned and ad hoc)
• Partner with Product Management, and overall marketing team to support launches via
o Message testing
o Pre-briefings
o Monitoring influencer articles and social media
• Metrics reporting, quarterly review of activities and achievements to Exec team


Required Qualifications:
• Knowledge of AR strategy within the enterprise technology required (infrastructure automation space a plus)
• Strong planning skills - you have to be a great program manager!
• Resourceful and a creative thinker
• Demonstrate ability to organize and follow through
• Great attention de details
• Excellent interpersonal and executive presence skills
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Self-organized team player with a demonstrated ability to achieve objectives
• Able to operate in matrix organizations and manage multiple projects concurrently; comfortable working with remote colleagues and stakeholders; experience working across disciplines and geographies
• Comfortable with technology concepts and a general knowledge of the IT industry
