Job Title FP&A Consultant
Duties
- Business Support - Provide proactive business analysis to support to the management of the Semiconductor Business Group (SBG)& Engineering and other functions
- Support the build and analysis of the Annual Plan, 2nd Half Plan update, Plan versus Actual, Quarterly forecasts
- Modeling and Scenario analysis
- Provide superior financial modeling that leads to conclusions relative to ROI, value and risks associated with certain investments
- Costing analysis
- Maintain and update cost models that provide management with the costs of currently available technology versus alternative technologies PAC
- Maintain the ROI analysis that is used in evaluating the ROI of certain projects as well as variance analysis
- Develop the ROI analysis in support of SBG customer projects Other G&A Support Activities
- Support treasury operations- FAS 157 analysis and writeup- SAS 70´s analysis and writeup
- Act ´40 and 3a-8 analysis, Bond compliance, Sox checklist, Cash and marketable securities planning
Skills
- Minimum 4 to 6 years in financial planning and analysis supporting a business groups, plus to engineering and/or R&D (fp&a supporting G&A, corporate FP&A not included in the 4 to 6 year requirement)
- 5-10 years total experience in finance at a public high technology company in positions of increasing responsibility and scope (public semiconductor preferred)
- Bachelor degree in business (or the equivalent) from an accredited 4 year institution
- MBA or CPA
- Experience interacting with senior management as a credible partner
- Demonstrated understanding of G.A.A.P
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint and Hyperion
- Demonstrated success as a multi-tasker in a dynamic and fluid environment, operating across organizational boundaries and working as a contributing partner to the finance team
