[Windows Azure] Full text / sementic Search in help / documentation system

Hi All,

I know this question is reaching to some of the best software talent
and that i hope to get some help.

In simple terms, I need to develop  a MVC web app that acts a as Help System for multiple software products
( help system will be a hosted site like MSDN
).

The main part of system are Static HTML files in multiple languages and associated with multiple products. which need to be parsed first and then modified / stored in File system. These file will then be severed by IIS through the MVC app.

( for understanding more about this system requirement. plz ask me on email)

I am stuck with the decision of Server side Search engine on my file system.

I have Tested Sql Server full text search 2008 but for better design and scalability, I need to avoid storing html files and images in database.  ( is that assumption correct? or the new SQL Server file stream option is good to rely ?)

Also i have check Lucene  and Solr. but they need lots of customization to get good search results & use with .NET. (Maybe i am wrong )

Anyone has before used any search engine that reads file based text content and shows result using .NET.

This is a critical part of very costly products that are leading in their domain and fortune 100 companies & their users would be using these product help system online.

I need real good suggestions!

Regards,
Usama
