Marketing Associate – Sales Reporting and CRM

Silicon Valley based regional accounting firm which provides audit, tax and advisory services to a broad range of clients is currently seeking a Marketing Associate. A key team member of the Marketing team, this role is ideal for an individual who has solid experience with sales pipelines and reporting, and working with CRM systems.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the sales pipeline process and reporting. Extract data from the firm's CRM database and create regular Excel reports to firm management. Follow up with team members to track the current status of sales opportunities.
• Oversee the firm's CRM database from a data and process perspective (not a technical or IT perspective). Work with the firm's CRM users to help them enter new sales opportunities. Make adjustments and corrections to the data as needed. Run reports, and import/export data.
• Use CRM data to create mailing lists, and import and export data using Constant Contact.
• Implement a new process for managing and tracking inbound sales leads.
• Assist with market and competitive research.
• Work with industry targeting teams, advising on marketing and targeting strategies, leading implementation, and tracking the team's activities.
• Assist with sales proposals, advising on messaging and strategy.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• 3-5 years Marketing or relevant experience. Experience in professional services (such as accounting, law, finance) a plus.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university, MBA degree from an accredited college/university is a plus.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills required. In particular, must be very experienced with Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables.
• Experience working with data from CRM or other business database.
• Ability to multi-task, to work with the Marketing team and stakeholders to manage multiple assignments and projects.
• Ability to learn, use and adapt to new technology solutions and databases.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and to take a proactive role in executing assignments.
• Ability to interface with firm employees at all levels.
• Timeliness, attention to detail, and organization.
• Ability to make decisions with appropriate consultation with team members.
