SUMMARY
We are looking for a marketing manager with extensive experience with coordinating multiple retail and online marketing campaigns and promotions in North America. The candidate must have experience with ecommerce, retail, CE and/or consumer software companies. You will be responsible for managing our retailer customer's digital media channel programs and developing new merchandising and promotional tools to support our retailers while contributing to Rovi's overall marketing and company objectives.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, results driven, and a movie, TV and technology enthusiast. In this role, you will be implementing our customer's entry into a new delivery category, directly contributing to their and our revenue growth. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Be our retail and CE customer's representative within our company
Effectively translate our retail and CE customer's business needs, strategy, and vision to our internal stakeholders
Support our retail and CE customers in the planning, development, and execution of online marketing strategies and promotions to support the retailers business priorities, marketing objectives, and P&L goals
Responsible for managing our customer's day-to-day business, including managing and scheduling their promotional calendar, ensuring marketing programs are executed on time and accurately, and that the promotions meet our customer's goals
Management of cross-functional teams and resources necessary to ensure the successful definition, development, and execution of our customer's marketing campaigns
Collaborate with multiple, internal teams, to define scope, drive our customer's marketing requirements, and ensure the development roadmap is aligned with our customer's goals, objectives and reporting requirements
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
At least 5 years of marketing experience with e-commerce, retail and/or consumer software companies
BS/BA degree in marketing preferred
Results-driven with knowledge around retail metrics
Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and able to lead cross-functional executions simultaneously
Experience with working as a liaison between customers and internal teams
Strong verbal and writing/editing communication skills – second language a plus
Desire to work in a fast-paced, small-team environment
