[flexcoders] Event.EXITING and Event.CLOSING

I am using the Flex 4.6 SDK setup in Eclipse and I cannot use either of these 2 constants.  Does anyone here know what I need to do to make these work?

Error: Access of possibly undefined property EXITING through a reference with static type Class.

NativeApplication.nativeApplication.addEventListener(flash.events.Event.EXITING, closeApp);
