Encore Fellowships provide paid, transitional engagements in non-profit organizations, for those typically 50+ and considering retirement, with 20+ years experience in their field, who wish to move their skills to the social impact sector for their second act, usually part-time. Fellowships include a $25,000 stipend for 1000 hours of work, education on the sector, and networking with a cohort of peers.

 

Fellowship: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER -- Virtual, must be in San Francisco Bay Area

For a SF Bay Area nonprofit focused on advancing the field of urbantech by developing a network to solve the significant challenges and pressures cities face, helping the public sector, startups and corporations build and prove new solutions for the essential foundation of our cities--transportation and mobility, energy and building.


Project Scope:

  • Connected in the SF Bay Area and California
  • An experienced Business Development professional who is interested in translating their corporate business development experience and relationships  to raising corporate partnerships and sponsor deals
  • A Strong networker, sales pitch aficionado, mission-oriented business developer who wants to see big companies and small succeed through their support of our work

Stipend: $25K for 1000 hours, with the possibility of extension

Work Schedule: 20 hours a week for 12 months, Flexible

Work Location: 100% Virtual, SF Bay Area candidates only
