POSITION – DATA ANALYST
LOCATION – SAN JOSE, CA
DURATION – 2 MONTHS
JOB DESCRIPTION
Consultant will clarify business requirements with stakeholders and work with data experts to gather appropriate data from various internal sources. Internal data may include categorized expense data, sales and marketing headcount, bookings, revenue, media, demand generation, and other related data. Utilize various data and analysis tools like SAS, Business Objects, Excel, Access, and other tools to extract/aggregate/modify/merge internal data to create summary data sets as specified by the project manager. Prepare data sets for advanced data mining. Provide documentation on methods used to create data sets. Identify and address data quality issues when appropriate.
REQUIREMENT
• Highly proficient with Excel
• Former experience extracting, aggregating, modifying, and merging data sets
• Familiar with database principles
• Knowledge of SAS, Business Objects, Access, and/or other data tools is desired
• Good communicator, both written and verbal communication skills are important
