Medrio (www.medrio.com), an innovative pharmaceutical software company headquartered in San Francisco, seeks an exceptional Software Engineer to join our agile software development team based in San Francisco, CA. In this position you will play a leading role in the future of Medrio´s eClinical software service. You will work with a team of other software engineers to adapt Medrio´s software platform to meet Medrio´s fast growth and ever-changing customer needs.

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement new functionality and improvements to Medrio´s web-based EDC application
• Provide technical leadership for the design of the Medrio EDC application and future systems
• Analyze existing systems and collected data to drive engineering improvements to the service
• Contribute to the software QA effort by implementing unit tests and other test automation tools
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as design and testing plans
• Participate in team meetings

Required Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in application development
• 4+ years of experience developing web applications using the .NET Platform
• 3+ years of experience using T-SQL/SQL Server 2008
• Strong knowledge of client side technologies including CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and HTML
• Working knowledge of XML/XSLT/XSD
• Experience developing web services on the .NET Platform
• Solid understanding of object oriented design and concepts
• A bachelor´s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent real-world experience)

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience using an ORM tool such as NHibernate
• Experience designing public facing APIs in a hosted/software as a service environment
• Experience with web application performance and scalability
• Knowledge of web service identity management protocols and methods
• Experience working in an agile environment (SCRUM)
• Knowledge of clinical research data standards such as CDISC ODM
