Position Overview:
Bergerson Group is seeking a full time channel marketing manager who has a proven track record of working with direct marketers and eCommerce companies such as CDW, Insight, PC Connection, Amazon.com, etc, to build merchandising and promotional plans and influence product positioning. Prior experience working with these companies is required.

In this role you will develop and execute aggressive growth strategies and tactics to maximize the client's opportunity with selected key accounts around the world. Key accounts include direct marketers and eCommerce companies such as CDW, Insight, PC Connection, Amazon.com, etc.

You will work closely with the US sales teams to manage detailed account planning, revenue generating programs and drive data-driven metrics to be shared on a quarterly basis. Along with sales planning, this position is responsible for accurate forecasting, program performance metrics as well as recommendations on additions/enhancements to programs and promotions with the accounts. In addition, as the route to market leader, you will be responsible for maximizing significant growth potential in future years by driving innovative ideas, educating key client executive stakeholders and continuing very high year over year growth rates for the business.
Strong collaboration with the sales team in the US will comprise a large part of the role. Building credibility and relevance with proposed account plans and promotions will be essential. Must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer planning/review discussions to drive towards sales metrics. Candidate needs prior experience in the IT industry and will be expected to create and plan innovative promotions, programs and revenue building ideas.

You will be directly responsible for the overall RTM strategy and account planning for key accounts in the US.

Qualifications to include:
• Past experience working with key transaction accounts (CDW, Insight, PC Connection, Amazon.com, etc)
• Experience building actionable long and short term account plans based on a deep understanding of the impacts of business and technology trends
• Recommendation and execution of past programs and promotions for key product technologies is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of networking technology, industry and competitive landscape is a must
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain extensive inter-company relationships
• Significant experience in understanding of product, service, and channels sales

Skill Sets:
• 8+ years of channel marketing experience
• Solid understanding of partner business models
• Typically requires BS/BA degree. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Strong marketing background with responsibilities for multiple, broad based marketing initiatives.
• Global experience.
• Specific industry experience with a good understanding of networking.
• Proven track record of developing and executing programs to a market/channel segment.
• Works with only minimal management participation.
• Works independently and leads teams to complete projects and major initiatives using judgment and experience.
• Strong written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Able to communicate complex technical or market issues clearly.
• Strategic projects covering high level to tactical details.
• Multiple large and complex projects. Comprehensive budget and ROI responsibilities.
• Works with peers and higher level management.
• Solves most team problems and some cross-organization problems independently, using professional knowledge, sound judgment and Cisco policy and procedure.
• Uses expertise and creativity for innovative marketing recommendations and solutions. Dedication to customer success.
• Self motivated and creative.
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
• Good working relationship with peers.
• Excellent follow-through and ability to track and communicate ROI
• Flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
