Channel Impact is seeking an experienced Diversity Executive Communication Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be working side-by-side our high-tech client to provide executive communication services for the head Diversity Officer. The ideal candidate is a sharp, thoughtful, and driven storyteller that has deep experience in both Executive Communication and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I). You are eager to apply your writing, research skills, and design sensibility to executive presentations, emails, blogs, social media, press and internal and external speaking engagements.
This full time, salaried position that includes benefits and is open to remote workers located in the PTZ.
What you will be doing:
Developing internal and external leadership platforms and content, and managing speaker placements and prep. Focus may be global, national, regional, sub-regional or local in scope.
Setting and leading the adoption of communications strategies, policies, processes and standards to drive desired behavior.
Proactively soliciting the "voice of" various internal audiences (i.e., field, senior leaders, HR, first- level managers, all employees), sharing that information with business leaders to drive better, more impactful content and communications.
Developing, driving and evaluating executive communications strategies and programs (internal or external) for top executive and GM levels.
Developing executive speeches, including speech writing and speaker prep, customer presentations and internal communications for executives.
Independently developing and implementing comprehensive executive communications strategies/roadmap, messaging frameworks, and timelines spanning multiple quarters (e.g., annual exec communications strategy and plan for a global business group or region).
Be recognized as an authority and communication thought leader.
Ensuring communications align with our client's brand identity and messaging framework.
What you bring:
15+ years experience in executive communications ideally for a high tech company (required)
Inclusion and diversity experience (required)
Ability to write in alignment with D&I executive voice and leadership style and tone
You are a polished storyteller that is calm under pressure, innovative and think out of the box
Superior writing and editing skills - recognized for "near perfection" writing and editing skills and often asked to edit the work of others.
Experience and comfort working with a range of stakeholders in a consultative and operational role across management and functional lines across the organization.
Superior listening and interpersonal skills.
Solid ability to create a storyline and develop a messaging platform
Superior organization skills.
Strong PowerPoint skills
Superior knowledge and understanding of communications methodologies, tools and vehicles.
High levels of tact and diplomacy.. Experience working on high profile initiatives that require confidentiality and discretion.
BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.
