Thanks Malcolm,

I agree that Karthik's post lacked clarity. I could be wrong but I read it that he believes Tester's should understand the roles of others such as Programmers and Business Analysts, but does not believe that a position where people can seamlessly change from Programmer to Tester role is realistic. A subject that probably merits a separate thread...
