Urgently required for a leading global internet and software solution company " UI Designer"
Responsibilities:
- The focus of the role will be to take "basic" .aspx pages produced by developers and working with a creative designer, enhance the user experience using a combination of XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This includes: coding, testing, debugging and integration.
- Integrate Telerik ASPX/AJAX controls into the web site.
- Participate in usability reviews and user testing of the .aspx pages and web site.
- Identify back-end functionality requirements for developers based on input from the creative designer.
- Identify bugs/issues with the "basic" .aspx pages produced by the developers.
- Participate in root cause analysis of problems and provide support to the resolution process.
Essential Technical Skills:
Essential Technical Skills:
· XHTML, CSS and JavaScript – focus on client side presentation and user experience
· Cutting and optimizing graphics for web applications
· Cross-browser compatibility
Soft Skills:
· Highly disciplined, results oriented, excellent work ethic / attitude
· Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical resources
· Excellent at setting and maintaining expectations
· Quality Management.
· Thrive in a "start-up" environment that is constantly growing / evolving
