Director, Integrated Marketing at Vector Laboratories
Note: The work location is flexible. This role can be fully remote, or a hybrid option in our new offices in Newark, CA!
Vector Laboratories is looking for an experienced Marketing leader to join the Brand & Marketing team.
This role leads marketing programs for our industrial segment—setting the strategic direction for our Marketing approach to this segment, including planning, messaging, content, and program development, as well as tactical implementation of integrated marketing campaigns. Collaborating with multifunction teams, including Product, Commercial Ops, and Sales, this role will focus on developing and optimizing marketing efforts to support business objectives, including driving revenue growth, product/service awareness and adoption, customer engagement, education, and lead generation. Our ideal candidate will be passionate, curious, and driven by customer needs.

Responsibilities
• Develop and lead marketing programs for our industrial customer segment
• Map and evolve the customer journey to develop compelling messaging and content to match identified needs
• Lead innovation for Account-based Marketing. Serve as a subject matter expert, establish best practices, optimize our approach, and develop strategies to meet our business needs. Drive adoption of tools by translating technology into team members' needs through educational materials
• Build a roadmap for Account-based Marketing to meet business needs
• Develop and own our Account-based Marketing framework, including an internal playbook that maps customer personas, journeys, solution-based selling, messaging hierarchy, and content strategy to target segments
• Set the direction of and support the development of assets to support marketing campaigns, including white papers, infographics, brochures, videos, etc.
• Develop innovative and creative marketing campaigns targeted to industry segments
• Identify marketing channels to match program needs and create end-to-end marketing campaigns to action against them
• Drive digital demand generation working with our Digital Marketing team
• Drive the demand generation pipeline to meet business goals
• Work to develop actionable insights from metrics to communicate to the extended team and senior management

Analytical: Adept at understanding the systems and tools necessary to effectively implement campaigns and measure and track programs through all phases of the marketing funnel with a mindset to test, measure, and track performance and results.
Collaborator: A strong communicator that brings together functional teams for a common purpose with a transparent communication style. Displays strong listening skills to encourage diverse ideas.
Innovative: Forward-looking in terms of process improvements and approaches to meet customer needs and business objectives.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
• Master's degree or higher, PhD preferred, with 10+ years experience in marketing.
• Background in the life sciences
• Experience in Account-based Marketing preferred
• Experience in developing and executing marketing programs
• An experienced marketeer and storyteller with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A creative thinker
• Excellent interpersonal communication, relationship building, and teamwork
• Skilled at managing complex projects, with strong attention to detail

Position Overview
Job Description: We're hiring a Front Desk/Office Assistant to join our team in Palo Alto, California! The Front Desk/Office Assistant position is a vital and well-respected role at our Company. It's ideal for someone with a customer service background who is looking for the first step into an administrative position or an opportunity for someone to expand upon their existing administrative experience. The person in this role will wear many hats and will support various departments such as HR, Facilities, and Legal. At times, the person in the role will need to juggle multiple projects; therefore, the position requires someone who is organized, flexible, and able to manage deadlines and priorities. The person in the role must have a professional presence and a friendly, customer-oriented demeanor.
Responsibilities include covering the front desk on a daily basis, as well as performing a variety of front desk, administrative, and office management tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who possesses a 'can-do' attitude and the willingness to adapt to daily demands and challenges as they arise. The role requires someone who is punctual and reliable.
This is a full-time position with daily hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position reports to the Human Resources Manager.
Front Desk Duties Include:
*Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, as well as monitor all voicemail boxes
*Greet and welcome clients and vendors as they arrive at the office
*Order and maintain inventory of office/mailroom and break room supplies
*Ensure reception area and conference rooms are well maintained
*Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages (inter-office, USPS, FedEx, UPS)
*Maintain Conference Room calendar and HR time-off calendar
*Order lunches for internal meetings, as needed
*Review expense reports/invoices and add internal codes for processing of HR/corporate credit cards
*Provide backup support for the daily opening and closing of the office, as necessary
Administrative Duties Include:
*Provide administrative support to departments within the organization, including but not limited to HR; for example, assist with Ad Hoc HR & Office Projects
*Additionally, assist the Facilities Coordinator with office events by proposing ideas, helping to manage the budget, and executing the plan
*Provide backup support to the Office & HR Assistant, as needed
*Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
*Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
*Minimum of 1-year experience as a Front Desk Representative or a similar role
*Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word / Excel)
*Solid written and verbal communication skills
*Professional and positive attitude
*Customer service approach to interacting with all levels within the organization
*Proven ability to work independently
*Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple projects
*Punctuality is required
