The Role
As an important marketing stakeholder for Megaport's strategic channel partners globally, you will manage and deliver campaigns that raise awareness, create demand, and drive revenue. Engaging with the world's top Data Center Providers, Managed Service Providers, System Integrators and Network Service Providers, you will apply your extensive partner marketing experience, technology background, and creative campaigning skills to deliver successful end-to-end joint marketing initiatives. This role reports to the Director of Channel Marketing.

What You'll Be Doing

    • Partner GTM and Joint Marketing – Collaborate with the assigned partner segment on the creation of joint solution value propositions and messaging. Drive the internal and external go-to-market strategy and execution with the use of Megaport's PartnerVantage program where appropriate.
    • Budget - Own and manage the marketing budget for your partner segment
    • Partner Relations and Success – Grow relationships, support QBRs and inspire leaders from key partners to ensure Megaport is positioned well and that the partners see a successful business opportunity in front of them
    • Content Marketing – Develop and manage a library of internal and external partner resources (i.e. use cases, partner stories, solution briefs, slide presentations, business and technical white papers, web and social content, etc.) relevant to your partner segment. Support partner segment with customized campaigns.
    • Reporting – Own internal communications, dashboards and confluence postings 
    • Strategy and Insights – Analyze market and company data alongside partner strategies to define opportunities, audiences, objectives, threats, and priorities
    • Ensure partner marketing materials align with SEO and Megaport branding
    • Ensure partner initiatives comply with Megaport Information Security & Legal requirements

What We're Looking For

    • B.A. or other relevant undergraduate degree required – MBA a plus
    • 6+ years of enterprise B2B channel marketing experience
    • A proven channel marketing expert, adept at managing partners of all sizes
    • A solid understanding of cloud, data centers, networking, and enterprise IT
    • Extensive experience with multi-touch campaigns for both technical and non-technical audiences, from prospect to advocacy
    • Exposure to marketing automation software (e.g. Marketo) and major BI and analytics software technologies
    • Player-coach required – Must be enthusiastic about developing the plan and doing the work
    • Very strong written and communications skills with an innate attention to detail
    • Willingness to travel within the United States 
    • Team attitude - Understands the value of winning together

[KIT-list] Partner Marketing Specialist (Moraga, California)

Channel Impact is seeking a Partner Marketing Specialist to join our winning team of channel careerists. In this role, you'll be working with our high tech client and be responsible for helping the client to achieve their partner marketing objectives with Distribution, DMRs, SI and other partner business models.

This is a full time, salaried position that is open to candidates currently located in Pacific and Mountain time zones.

What you will be doing:
Work with national partners such as Optiv, SHI, Insight Direct, WWT and ePlus to create playbooks and success stories. You will also prepare content for their annual Sales Kick Offs, and develop joint solutions slides decks and other supporting content.
Work with distributors such as Arrow and Ingram to develop, add and promote content on their shared web platform and help execute enablement and demand generation initiatives
Work with "emerging" technology partners by onboarding them using the documented onboarding process. This includes adding their logo to the Technology Partner webpage and working with key stakeholders to develop a joint solution brief and also posting it to the Technology Partner webpage.
In addition, support ad hoc requests from "emerging" technology partners for joint marketing activities, such as events, webinars, and press releases, after they have been approved.
Work in conjunction with Sales Enablement, Alliances, and Product Marketing to help with development of eLearning modules.
Assist with development of content for technology partner campaigns
Help with operational projects involving accounts (i.e. account clean up, etc.) and technology partner collateral tracking
Manage the Channel newsletter – help collect and build content, draft copy, collect all necessary links
Monthly webinars – prepare registration page copy, help prepare SFDC campaigns to track registrations/attendance
Help prepare social media posts for partners
Partner Spotlight blog series – help coordinate partner candidates, questionnaires, external writer, posting on the public website

You're a good fit if you have:

5+ years of partner marketing experience for a high technology company
Network security experience is a plus
You have a Bachelor's Degree - preferably in Marketing or Business Administration.
Previous experience with project and/or program management experience required.
You have extraordinary interpersonal and communications skills.
Experience with an analytics-based approach to Marketing and Go-To-Market strategy.
You have strong digital marketing skills with knowledge of Marketing Automation platforms.
You have a history of working in a team environment.
