Introduction / Summary: 

This role is in AMF Media Group's Connext Services division which connects clients with rock star independent consultants to work on marketing communications projects. Our primary clients are Silicon Valley tech clients. In this role you are at the hub of our operations managing all our project revenue and ensuring flawless customer service to our clients.

Left Brain—You are a born learner, highly organized, tenaciousand determined. You despise clutter and chaos. You can juggle 10 things at once, like research, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and drafting and tracking statements of work with timely detail and great accuracy.


Right Brain—You are a strong communicator and convey details in a concise, clear manner. You are incredibly passionate about helping people. You are confident and outgoing and known for keen listening, positivity.

 

Job Duties:

• Reconcile—keep our projects reconciled to the penny
• Use project management tools and CRM to monitor projects and ensure on-time and on-budget project execution
• Prepare, send out, and manage the execution of new client contracts
• Draft Excel funding templates for new projects, calculate total dollars based on duration, bill rate, and client holidays and shutdowns
• Statement of Work development—create project scope working with client and account manager defining deliverables, timeline, and funding
• Track and initiate renewals, Amendments and Change Orders
• Manage and document receipt of all Purchase Orders 
• Report—update and generate succinct and accurate reporting for our team and clients
• Manage and track monthly and quarterly accruals, and accrual invoices for clients
• Document—update our CRM and project management database—details are all accounted for with pinpoint accuracy, projects are up-to-date, and all information is captured
• Track and manage budget dollars, client budget reporting and billing
• Listen, analyze, research—hear our client's needs, solve problems at-hand and anticipate those not yet identified—and understand what is needed in each unique circumstance
• Communicate—write crisp, clean easy-to-read emails, get your point across succinctly and personably
• Ensure project specifications accurately reflect the customer expectations, schedule, and budget
• Develop relationships with client company operations and procurement personnel

 

 

Experience Needed:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of business work experience (ideally in project management, financial roles, customer service)
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized, with a sense of urgency and drive
• Innately relationship/service-oriented, confident leading conversations
• Strong research, documentation and reporting skills, ability to manage figures and budgets
• Professional and concise communicator
• Minimum of a college degree with strong internship or relevant work experience

San Francisco Bay Area candidates preferred, Candidates anywhere in the US will be considered

 

For a San Francisco Bay Area nonprofit focused on education in underserved communities.


Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all aspects of finance and accounting including cash flow, payroll, compliance, audits, grants reporting, and budgeting.


Stipend: $25K for 1000 hours, with the possibility of extension

Work Schedule: 20 hours a week for 12 months.

Work Location: 100% REMOTE

Bay Area candidates preferred. Qualified candidates anywhere in the US will be considered.
