Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced cross-functional lead to manage and oversee our full-stack web development and marketing automation platform engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both web development and marketing automation platform development, as well as experience leading cross-functional teams within an agency setting.


What you'll be doing:

-- Lead and manage the full-stack web development team, including the development and maintenance of web applications and websites
-- Lead and manage the marketing automation platform engineering team, including the development and maintenance of marketing automation platforms
-- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and marketing, to ensure that web development and marketing automation platform engineering projects align with internal and client company goals and objectives
-- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
-- Ensure that web development and marketing automation platform engineering projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of internal and external stakeholders
-- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure their professional growth and development
-- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development and marketing automation platform engineering trends and technologies, and incorporate them into projects as appropriate


What we're looking for:

-- Strong background in web development, including experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks (such as React or Angular)
-- Strong background in marketing automation platform engineering, including experience with platforms such as Marketo, Pardot, or Eloqua
-- Experience leading cross-functional teams, including web development and marketing automation platform engineering teams
-- Strong project management skills, including experience defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, as well as identifying dependencies and potential roadblocks
-- Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
-- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to provide guidance and mentorship to team members
-- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
-- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field

The Opportunity:

The client's Lifecycle Marketing team is passionate about delivering impactful and effective marketing programs to their customers and prospects.

Their goal is to drive long-term growth for the organization through personalized marketing campaigns and world-class marketing platform solutions. They are looking for an outstanding candidate with a passion for planning, creating & managing technical documentation to drive training, worldwide processes, and managing cross-functional priorities across multiple strategic roadmaps needed to further the vision of a truly global personalization platform.

In this role, the candidate will develop and organize the key documentation required by the Lifecycle Marketing global teams. This will include technical instruction manuals for internally developed solutions, technical requirements, marketing processes, and strategic roadmaps with clear priorities and dependencies, as well as facilitating regular internal prioritization syncs with the purpose of unlocking and scaling highly personalized Marketing Content to drive experiences globally.


What You'll Do:

-- Partner with Marketing Managers and Solution Architects to create, and maintain training materials, end-to-end processes, and wiki documentation for collecting, and prioritizing global marketing requirements across platforms
-- Gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedural manuals, process documentation, and technical specifications
-- Gain a deep understanding of internal and external products, translating complex information into clear, polished, and engaging content
-- Develop and maintain a detailed database of content within the team wiki space
-- Evaluate current documentation and develop methods to improve both organization and usability

===What You Need to Succeed===

-- Bachelors Degree or 2-3 years of equivalent practical experience
-- Background in Technical Writing
-- Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced, growth environment
-- Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills with an impeccable eye for detail
-- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Atlassian (Wiki)
-- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple types of information for different internal audiences
-- A Plus: Knowledge of email marketing best practices, ExactTarget Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, or related email software and related technologies (ie. HTML, CSS)
