Contract to Hire
Perm role - Fully Remote - (Austin or SF preferred)

Requirements:
A human who is independent, understands and/or has done full-cycle, and can calibrate and coach hiring managers on DE&I.
She is more focused on the right person coming on as this will be the second recruiter/sourcer in the company
Technical recruiting = SWE, ML, AI, some Hardware experience
Experience = 3+ years for recruiters
Experience = 10-15+ years for Recruiting Manager
Remote - but SF and Austin candidates preferred
Compensation: 130k for Tech Recruiters depending on experience

Company:
The Progress Foundation is a non-profit located in San Francisco whose mission is to help the homeless, provide them care, and avoid them from becoming institutionalized. They provide a suite of care services including mental health triage, crisis and transitional residential housing. They operate in San Francisco, Sonoma, and Napa counties, and service approximately 3,000 individuals per year. The foundation has ~400 employees was founded in 1969 by Executive Director Steve Fields, who has run the foundation the entire duration of its existence.

Role:
The CFO/CAO will oversee all financial and operational matters within Progress Foundation. The accounting team is made up of two Staff Accountants, two in payroll, and the Controller who is excellent. They also have a Housing/HUD expert that will report into this person as well as the Director of HR.

The role will primarily serve as Steve's right hand person, oversee the accounting department + manage FP&A, manage contract negotiation, and financial reporting to the Executive Director. Their operating budget is approximately $17M. The role is open because the current CFO is retiring in September.

Sells:
Highly mission driven. Friendly atmosphere, great tenure on team.

Requirements:
5+ years of leadership experience as a Director of Finance or CFO
MBA or other advanced degree
Non-profit experience highly desired
Open to candidates who need to relocate but will need this person to be in-office in San Francisco

Compensation:
150-180k base. Strong fringe benefits and fully covered medical, dental, vision + 403b with match.
