Systems (Linux Santos or RHEL) Engineer (Key RHEL/Santos, Apache. Automation- Chef or Puppet, CF Engine, Nagio, Hyp[eric, MySQl, Some Shell)
Description
Looking for a Senior Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our Production Operations Infrastructure Team. You will have primary responsibility for the hardware, software, and network infrastructure in our 9 data centers where we support Production Operations and implementing customers, which is currently around 270 globally.

Responsibilities/Skills/Requirements:
* Deep expertise in designing, building, operating, and troubleshooting Linux/Unix-based large scale Internet / SaaS / Cloud systems
* Technical degree or work experience equivalent
* Good communication skills to support our compliance initiatives (SAS70, disaster recovery, ISO) and the teamwork required for rapid company growth
* Experience with database or block replication, SAN/NFS management, or data center automation tools is important
* Demonstrated ability to build scalable web-based systems that support rapid growth
* Demonstrated ability building system level automation using Chef or Puppet
* Experience implementing and using monitoring tools such as Nagios, Hyperic, etc.

looking for a Senior Network & Security Engineer to join our Technical Production Operations team. You will have responsibility for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of customer facing global network and security infrastructure in our 9 Global Data Centers supporting Development through Production Operations.

Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain Data Center Network infrastructure including layer 2 and layer 3 switching, internal & internet facing routing, Internet connectivity, and VPN solutions.
* Design, implement, and maintain Security infrastructure including firewalls, intrusion protection systems, and other security related technologies.
* Implement Network & Security monitoring solutions for availability, manageability, and risk management purposes
* Collaborate closely with Workday*s Security organization ensuring compliance with all audits and policies
Skills and Experience:
* Large scale web operations in Software-as-a-Service or Consumer Web
* 5+ years supporting industry standard Network & Security infrastructure
* Experience leading projects from design through implementation & support phases
* BGP routing
* Familiarity with automated configuration management, application tuning, and global Internet performance.
* Experience designing solutions that are guided by and compliant with industry standard audit and compliance standards such as PCI, ISO27001, and SAS70
* Excellent hands on technical skill and related experience.
* Good verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organizations.
* Deep expertise in designing, building, operating, and troubleshooting Linux/Unix-based large scale Internet systems
* Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent required, Masters preferred
* Industry certifications: CISSP, CCNP, FCNSP, FCNSA and/or GIAC or equivalent

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Document business processes, requirements, and functional specifications.
2. Develop appropriate methodologies for collecting and analyzing data, and presenting information in a manner that is easily accessible by information consumers.
3. Extract data from MS SQL Server using appropriate analytical tools like SQL Workbench, SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, Business Objects or similar tools; analyze, and interpret data.
4. Participate in data warehouse design sessions, contributing ideas and suggestions to help increase its ability to support new business initiatives.
5. Participate as a member of the Development Team to design and develop solutions to meet business needs.
6. Assist with the creation and planning of projects, including organizing and leading group meetings.
7. Responsible for the completion of special projects assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS (knowledge, skills, abilities)

1. Responsible for assessing business processes and identifying new information needs.
2. Skilled in compiling data into innovative presentations of information.
3. Skilled in examining documents, reports, and presentations for correctness and interpreting accuracy.
4. Skilled at identifying opportunities for increasing business efficiency.
5. Good database skills with the ability to retrieve data from the databases on MS SQL Server and to create reports in SSRS, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, or similar software.
6. Experience with dashboard design and interactive information presentations.
7. Data Warehouse experience preferred.
8. 2+ years experience in healthcare analysis strongly preferred.
9. Knowledge of standard health care reporting measures such as Member Months, PMPM, days per thousand, etc.
10. Detail oriented; able to work independently and set priorities.
11. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
12. Solid project planning experience required.
13. Proficient with Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, Access, Visio, and MS Project.

Education:

Bachelors in Public Health, Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
